It is officially the slowest moving workday of my life! Maybe its because: I'm bored/leaving this job/Friday/slow/nice out/have baller plans tonight/combination of all these, I feel like the clock is moving slower than grade school days. So, I will debate on and inspire an outfit for myself for tonight....drawing solely from Olivia Palermo's recent choices.

Yes to liquid leggings, fierce heels, and large clutch. That trench is sick too.

Yes to loose, shiny curls and drapey sleeves to accentuate the clavicle (hers is bitchin...p.s.)

Yes to black as a starting point to shape my ensemble around.

Both of these are too perfect. I really love the vest idea. And the seafoam blue. And the shoes. Ok, Olivia has the best style ever witnessed on an MTV reality show. LC is a very close runner-up, but gets minus points due to Season 1. I know we haven't been with Olivia from the beginning, but LC's headband/cropped jeans/over bleached hair a la the Jason Years keeps her solidly at #2.

I like this look. Kim by far has the best style of the Kardashians. There's nothing phenomenal about it though...other than her ass.

She's so cool. The funny thing is, if she bought her outfit at Urban, she sucks. If she found it at Goodwill, she is my idol.

If I had more freedom (read: no dress code) at work, I would replicate Ash's look. For some reason, I don't think a low-cut sheer tank would fly in a law firm.

Again, nothing amazing, but I love that jacket.

I don't think embellished pantyhose count as pants, but eh, she can pull it off. I have never seen a cardigan look so hot.

I Can't Embrace Mondays

My favorite Canadian, Hail Mary, has great posts about embracing Mondays. Although I totally recommend checking out her blog, I want to say this...Mondays are alot easier/better/more embrace-able when you are in college. Sorry, Mary...it is the truth. When you are a yuppie (young, urban, professional) that is coming to terms with what "maturity" and "responsibility" mean, Mondays are always awful and usually accompanied by a period of self-loathing. A graph on crappygraphs.com displayed it best; the length of your weekend experiences an exponential drop, inversely related to how much fun you have. I remedy my own self-hating by blogging about nonsense.
