Ode to Olsen

There are many people/things I tend to mention a great deal in this blog...can you guess number 1 and 2? If you said the Olsens and Lauren Conrad, congratulations you have eyes and/or are literate. But yes, my obsession with the Olsens goes beyond addictive reality tv and tabloid updates. I actually respect/admire them as business people, talented and driven artists, and having more balls than a jumbo-size gum machine. Mary-Kate's Interview article just came out online and I'm dying. Dare I say Christopher Bollen actually gives her the credit she deserves? read more here http://www.interviewmagazine.com/fashion/mary-kate-olsen/

My absolute favorite Timothy White Photo......

Just another manic Monday...

Everyone likes the Bangles right? There is no more perfect song for a Monday you have to work when everyone else has off....

Channeling Joan Crawford. No one else does the leopard and green so well. Despite being a big bag of crazy, she was still a verifiable fashion icon.

Green Dress-Forever 21 crazy sale $3.99, Sweater- Forever 21 $19.80, black tights- $1.99 drugstore (on sale! haha), Flats- $5.00 Ann Taylor found at Rugged Warehouse. Total = $30.78

Pensive pose...pondering my red hair and its likeness to Isla Fisher when curled. Kinda close, no?

Sweater- American Eagle found a Value City $7.99, Black top- thrifted Express $6.00, Pants- Limited found at Rugged Warehouse- $9.99, Flats- $5.00. Total = $28.98.

I apologize for the blurry-ness. I was trying to capture the Tuxedo shirt detail!

Giving J-lo a run for her money. Shirt- thrifted American Eagle $4.00, Tank- White House/Black Market as a gift (free!), Pants- Thrifted Express $5.00, Shoes- thrifted Jessica Simpson $5.00. Total= $14.00

So I wasn't able to get the shoes in view!!! Darn. Anyway, the pants are slightly cropped and I wore "office shoe porn" i.e. my super fun "clueless"-esque Maryjanes. I thought I snapped a photo of them, but apparently it was on my phone. Since I'm technology retarded, I haven't figured out how to upload pics from my phone yet. Anyway, black turtleneck- Forever 21 $4.99, Pants- thrifted Gap $2.00, Shoes (not seen) Colin Stuart found at Rugged Warehouse $6.00 !?!??!, and Scarf- Forever 21 $4.80. Total= $17.79.
